In Mumbai, one person was killed and at least five injured in a balcony collapse near Bharatmata Theatre in Lalbaug area of Central Mumbai this afternoon. According to BMC Sources, Ganesh devotees on the balcony were trying to get a glimpse of the passing Lalbaugcha Raja procession when the incident happened. The injured have been admitted to KEM Hospital in Parel in Mumbai. One injured person succumbed to his injuries and died before being admitted to the hospital.Ganeshotsav immersion processions are being carried out today on the occasion of Ananthchaturdashi. The day marks the end of the 10 day long Ganeshotsav celebrations in Mumbai.
