Balanced industrial development in 5 point programme to keep Maharashtra No 1 : CM

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has said that to ensure the state's leading position in the country, the government will stress on the five-point programme which includes balanced industrial development. The Chief Minister was speaking on Thursday after unfurling the Tricolour at Mantralaya in Mumbai on the occasion of the 67th Independence Day.The programme includes planned urbanization, improving the quality of education and rain-fed agriculture and steps to make the state drought-free. He said that the state government is making efforts to provide sufficient and continuous electricity for industrial and agricultural use.
