Balaji-Ranjeet win doubles title in Egypt

Top seeded Indian pair of N Sriram Balaji and Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan have won the doubles title of the ITF Men's Tennis Tournament in Egypt. They beat fourth seeded Egyptian pair of Karim Hossam and Karim-Mohamed Maamoun in the final today. It was a close contest as the Indian pair won the first set at 6-4 and in the second set, they had to work extra time to win by 7-6 tie-breaker. Second seeded Indian Prarthana G Thombare will clash with top seeded Russian Yana Sizikova for the Women's singles final title. In semi-final Prarthana overcame a fighting third seeded Russian Alina Mikheeva 7-5, 7-6.
