The Badminton Association of India (BAI) on Sunday announced a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh for young shuttler Lakshya Sen for winning a gold medal at the Asia Junior Championship in Jakarta. 

BAI president Himanta Biswa Sarma also lauded Lakshya's historic feat. He said, Lakshya has done the country proud. 

He said, BAI was happy seeing the dividends of investing on youngsters. BAI General Secretary Ajay K. Singhania also congratulated the shuttler.
