The Bahujan Samaj Party has said that it will contest all seats in forthcoming Bihar assembly elections. This was disclosed by party President and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati in Lucknow on Thursday while addressing party leaders and office bearers from Bihar. She said, BSP is being represented in Bihar Assembly for past several years and it will contest the forthcoming polls on its own. She reviewed the efforts being made by the Bihar unit to strengthen the party there. She also gave her nod on the names of some candidates proposed by the state unit although their names were not announced.
