In Odisha, the return car festival in Puri is being celebrated today. The festival marks the return of Lord Jagannath and his siblings to Sri Jagannath Temple from the Sri Gundicha Temple after a brief sojourn. It is also known as Baahudaa Yatra.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that, the deities have begun their homecoming to Sri Mandir on the ninth day of the Rath Yatra that was observed on the 12th of this month. Soon after the rituals like Chhera Pahanraa were over, the deities were ushered onto their respective raths.
