India's leading Badminton stars Saina Nehwal and K Srikanth will be vying for last 16 spots in the Badminton World Championship 2015 being held at Jakarta today.World number two Saina will be starting her World Championship campaign as she had got a bye in the first round. Saina will be taking on unseeded Cheung Ngan Yi from Hong Kong in the second round of women's singles event. Yesterday 11th seed Sindhu moved past Danish Line Kjaersfeldt 11-21, 21-17, 21-16 to enter last 16 stage. She will next take on Olympic champion and third seed Li Xuerui of China in the pre quarterfinals.In the men's singles event, three Indian shuttlers will be playing in the second round. 3rd ranked K Srikanth will take on Chinese Taipei's Hsu Jen Hao, 10th seed P Kashyap will meet Vietnamese Nguyen Tien Minh, while 11th seed H S Prannoy will be facing Edwin Ekiring of Uganda.In second round of women's doubles, Indian duo of Ashwini Ponappa and Jwala Gutta will be facing Chinese Taipei pair of Hsieh Pei Chen and Wu Ti Jung. The other Indian pair of Sikki Reddy and Pradnya Gadre will be playing Japanese pair of Shizuka Matsuo and Mami Naito.In men's doubles section, Akshay Dewalkar and Pranaav Chopra will meet 10th seed Denmark's Mads Conrad-Petersen and Mads Pieler Kolding.
