In her second round match, Saina, who is the top seed in the tournament, came back from a game behind to beat Dinar Dyah Ayustine of Indonesia, 17-21, 21-18, 21-12.Saina has, recently, recovered from a knee injury. She had bowed out in the opening round of China Open and made an exit in the last-8 at Hong Kong.In the Men's Singles, P. Kashyap today bowed out after losing in the pre-quarterfinals to Yu Hsien Lin of Chinese Taipei, 13-21, 20-22. Sai Praneeth is yet to play for a quarter-final berth.In the Men's Doubles, the pair of Sumeeth Reddy and Manu Attri made an exit in the second round.Rio Olympics Silver medalist PV Sindhu is not taking part in this competition.
