India's Ajay Jayaram has stormed into the quarterfinals of the New Zealand Open Badminton tournament at Auckland. In the Men's Singles pre-quarterfinals today, third seed Jayaram defeated Ji Hoon Hong of Korea, 14-21, 28-26, 21-13.Meanwhile, another Indian shuttlerm Arvind Bhat is yet to play his pre-quarterfinal match today. He will take on Indonesia's Andre Tedjono.Jayaram and Bhat are the two Indians left in the tournament.
