Badminton: 5 Indian shuttlers in Singles, 4 pairs in Doubles to be seen in action for place in finals

In the Syed Modi International Badminton Championships at Lucknow, 5 Indian shuttlers in the Singles, and 4 pairs in the Doubles will be seen in action this afternoon for a place in the finals.In the Women's Singles, top seed Saina Nehwal will take on Nichaon Jindapon of Thailand, while third placed PV Sindhu will clash with second seed Carolina Marin of Spain.In the Men's Singles, top seed Srikanth K. will play compatriot HS Pannoy, while P. Kashyap will meet higher placed Viktor Axelsen of Denmark.The duo of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa in the Women's Doubles; the pairs of Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy, and Akshay Dewalkar and Pranaav Jerry Chopra in the Men's Doubles; and the team of Manu Attri and K. Maneesha in the Mixed Doubles will also play in the semi-finals today.
