Scientists have used bacteria to turn methane into electricity. They have created a fuel cell which is powered by bacteria. It convert the greenhouse gas into electricity. <br/><br/>The scientists at Pennsylvania State University in the U.S. said they have engineered a strain of bacteria that can directly convert methane. <br/><br/>They said people have tried for decades to directly convert methane. But they have not been able to do it with microbial fuel cells.
