In Uttar Pradesh, an FIR has been lodged against seven persons including two doctors in the alleged cases of selling of new born babies in Jyotiba Phule Nagar district.Inspector General of Police, Law and Order, B P Singh told our Lucknow correspondent this evening that police is on the hunt to nab the culprits. The Chief Minister has ordered probe into alleged selling of new born babies from community health centre, Amroha and Joya in the district. The issue surfaced in a sting operation conducted by a news channel at both the health centres.Services of contractual employees including a lady doctor have been terminated with immediate effect and regular employees have been put under suspension. A three member team has been set up to investigate the issue. The state government has sought a detailed report from the District Magistrate.
