Lok Sabha Speaker, Ms. Meira Kumar, today called upon for a social and cultural revolution in the country on the lines of Renaissance. <br/><br/>Speaking at the book-launch of her father Babu Jagjivan Ram's biography in New Delhi, on the occasion of his 24th death anniversary, she stressed on the need to do away with caste system. <br/><br/>Releasing the book, Human Resource Development Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal said that Babu Jagjivan Ram believed in the principle of merit and fought for the upliftment of the downtrodden.<br/>
