Baba Ramdev who was detained along with his supporters for violating prohibitory orders was released within hours by Delhi Police. The police said that Baba Ramdev and his supporters are legally free to go. Ram Dev was arrested while leading a protest march to Parliament House demanding that the government should bring back black money slashed abroad. He was on a fast for four days at Ramlila Ground on the same cause.

Congress has described Ramdev's protest march as politically motivated move. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party leader Janardhan Dwedi said that government is taking all steps to bring back the black money.
