B5th IBSA summit to be held in South Africausiness News Heading

Deliberations on global financial and economic situation will dominate the proceedings of the 5th India Brazil-South Africa,IBSA summit. It will be held in Pretoria, South Africa from 17th of this month.The leaders of the three nations are expected to firm up their strategy for the G-20 summit to be held next month. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will lead the Indian delegation in the summit which is also scheduled to discuss cooperation in the area of agriculture, education, environment and business. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, the Secretary West M Ganpat said that terrorism and other issues concerning three nations will also come up for review. Reforms in UN Security Council will also figure prominently in the discussions.A High level delegation will accompany the Prime Minister in the visit.
