B.V.R. Subrahmanyam has joined Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog on Saturday. Mr Subrahmanyam is an Indian Administrative Service Officer of 1987 batch. He has held important assignments over the last three decades in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jammu and Kashmir, along with a stint at The World Bank. He has been Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir, Principal Secretary in Government of Chhattisgarh, and has held positions in the Prime Minister's Office.<br />'' <br />''On the occasion of taking charge as CEO of the public policy think tank of the government of India, Mr Subrahmanyam thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reposing trust and responsibility in him.
