Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's dream of equality for all especially social equality is yet to be fulfilled. <br/><br/>Mr Modi said the government is committed to ensure equal rights for every citizen of the country. He said people of the country are indebted to Dr Ambedkar for giving a new direction to the country. <br/><br/>Speaking after inaugurating Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi today, the Prime Minister said, social empowerment of people is a commitment for his government. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, BHIM app was launched for the poor and downtrodden and is a great step reflecting the economic development of the country. <br/><br/>He said, he is monitoring that every scheme being run by the government should meet its deadline. He said, efforts are being made to ensure that every poor has his house by 2022 under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.<br/><br/>Saying he has faith in the youth of the country to fight casteism, Prime minister said young Indians will fulfil the dream of New India. Mr Modi said Dr Ambedkar was always hopeful for India's socio and economic development. <br/><br/>He said toilets are being constructed in rural India and insurance being given to 18 crore poor under Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojana.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports Ambedkar International Centre is a fusion of Buddhist and present-day architecture. Mr Modi said it will provide information to people especially youth about Babasaheb. The complex includes seminar as well as conference halls. <br/><br/>There are three auditoriums and an extensive library with a rich digital repository. <br/><br/>Dr. Ambedkar International Centre is also aimed at encouraging discussions and research on vital issues related to Dr. BR Ambedkar.
