Azlan Shah Cup: Pakistan to meet Australia in finals today

In the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament in Malaysia, Pakistan will take on World Champions Australia in the final today. In their last round-robin league matches at Ipoh yesterday, while Pakistan scrapped past Malaysia, 3-2, Australia maintained their unbeaten record by defeating New Zealand, 4-2.Australia booked their berth in the final by topping the table with 16 points in the seven-nation tournament. Pakistan finished second with 12 points.In another league encounter yesterday, South Korea dashed Great Britain's hopes with a 3-1 victory. Both South Korea and India finished their league fixtures with seven points. The two teams will clash today to decide the fifth spot.New Zealand who also collected Seven points were placed ahead of India and South Korea on the basis of better goal difference.
