Dr. Aziz Quereshi has assumed the charge of Uttarakhand Governor, in Dehradun today. At a simple ceremony held at Raj Bhawan, Chief Justice of Nainital High Court Justice Barin Ghosh administered the oath of office to Dr. Aziz Qureshi. Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna and former Chief Ministers Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Nityanand Swami, Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri and Ramesh Podkhriyal Nishank, senior civil and police officials were amongst those present at the function. Dr. Aziz Quereshi was a former Minister of Madhya Pradesh and member of Lok Sabha also.
