World number one Victoria Azarenka set up a final date with Maria Sharapova at the China Open after the top two seeds enjoyed comprehensive victories in their semi-finals in Beijing today. In other action, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France moved into the men's singles final. Sharapova blew away home favourite Li Na 6-4, 6-0 before top seed Azarenka saw off the challenge from France's Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-2. In the men's draw, third seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga marched into the final when Feliciano Lopez retired during the second set of their match. The world number seven Tsonga thrashed Lopez 6-1 in the first set and was 4-1 up in the second when Lopez called it a day, citing an injury to his left wrist. In the final tomorrow, Tsonga will play the winner of the second semi-final between top seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia and unseeded Florian Mayer of Germany today.The women's double title clash takes place today. In this, India's Sania Mirza and her Spanish partner Nuria Llagostera Vives will lock horns with the Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
