In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in order to mark the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav' celebration, the Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department under Mushroom development scheme organised an awareness programme at Bhaderwah in Doda district to promote Mushroom farming among women farmers. Mushroom Development Officer, Bhaderwah informed the women farmers that the department will help them by imparting skills and training to educate in undertaking mushroom growing activity. The Chairman Block Development Council, Bhaderwah also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the agriculture department for achieving 100% in PMKSY and opening of new mushroom units with the capacity of around 2500 bags in the area.<br />''<br />
