The national level event named "Garib Kalyan Sammelan" will be held at Shimla where the Prime Minister will directly interact with the beneficiaries through video conferencing. Talking to media persons the Puducherry District Collector Vallavan said that 600 beneficiaries from Puducherry and 400 from Karaikal district will take part in the programme. The interaction aims to assess the impact of these schemes and to reach out 100 % of the beneficiaries.  Among the 14 welfare schemes are Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Poshan Abhiyaan, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jal Jeevan Mission.  The Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister Rengasamy and other dignitaries will attend the programme scheduled at 9 am on May 31 st.</span><br />
