In Manipur, Shaheed Diwas was observed today at Maharaja Chandrakirti Auditorium, Palace Compound, Imphal with Chief Minister N. Biren Singh gracing the function as Chief Guest. The observation was jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur, paying tribute to Revolutionaries and Martyrs as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – Celebrating 75 Years of India's Independence.<br />''<br />''As a part of the observation, Shri Biren led the other dignitaries in paying floral tribute to portraits of freedom fighters of the State.
