Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: International Forest Day celebrated with theme of 'Forests and Sustainable Production and Consumption

<span style="color: #222222;">Under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations -75th years of Independence – International Forest Day was celebrated at the National Zoological Park, New Delhi this evening by planting 75 native trees by media personnel, employees of the Environment Ministry and others.<br />” <br />” On the occasion, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav along with his deputy in the Ministry Ashwani Kumar Choubey released Export and Cultural values of the four native tree species namely Agarwood, Rosewood, Chandan and Red Sanders.<br />”<br />”In his address, Mr Yadav thanked media personnel for their active participation in planting trees and said that this kind of activities should be continued throughout the year. The theme of this year's International Forest Day is 'Forests and Sustainable Production and Consumption.</span>
