<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh inaugurated the country's first 'Amrit Sarovar' at Patwai in Rampur district yesterday. Shri Naqvi said the 'Amrit Sarovar' has been constructed under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said, public cooperation and promptness of the Gram Panchayat and District Administration have played a key role in the opening of the 'Amrit Sarovar' in such a short time.<br />'' <br />'' Last month, the Prime Minister had also mentioned about the initiative in his 'Mann Ki Baat' Programme and had applauded the local people, schoolchildren, Gram Panchayat and District Administration for transforming a dirty pond into clean 'Amrit Sarovar' in just a few weeks.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Naqvi said, the 'Amrit Sarovar' would not only help in environment and water conservation, but also attract people from nearby areas as a picnic spot. The 'Amrit Sarovar' has facilities like food court, fountains, lighting and boating.<br />'' <br />'' The Uttar Pradesh Government is working at a fast pace to construct 75 such 'Amrit Sarovars' in every district of the state to commemorate the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' initiative.</span><br />''  <br />
