He said, the Scheme has the benefit cover of 5 lakh rupees per family per year, irrespective of its size and age.&nbsp;</div>''<div><br />''</div>''<div>The Minister said, Ayushman Bharat is a major step towards Universal Health Coverage and it will protect around 50 crore people from catastrophic healthcare spending.&nbsp;</div>''<div><br />''</div>''<div>Mr Nadda said, families, belonging to poor and vulnerable population based on Socio-Economic Caste Census database, will be benefited through the scheme.&nbsp;</div>''<div><br />''</div>''<div>It will subsume the on-going centrally sponsored scheme Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana and Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme.&nbsp;</div>''<div><br />''</div>''<div>The Minister said, there will be synergy with the comprehensive primary health care under National Health Mission, through one lakh 50 thousand Health and wellness centres.&nbsp;</div>''<div><br />''</div>''<div>Mr Nadda also said, this will lead to timely treatments and job creation,&nbsp; thus, leading to the overall improvement in the quality of life.</div>
