Ayush Ministry and RIS Sign MoU to Enhance Academic Cooperation and Explore Potential in Ayush Service Sector

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Ministry of Ayush and Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in New Delhi. The Ministry said that the MoU will bring forth the overview of Ayush Service sector and will serve the continuation of academic cooperation and collaboration with RIS, which is a Policy Research autonomous institute of Ministry of External Affairs. Signing the MoU Ministry of Ayush, Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha highlighted the earlier report of RIS 'Ayush Sector in India: Prospects and Challenges' and stated that the report delineates that Ayush manufacturing sector has grown eight times in last nine years.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Expounding the burgeoning field of Ayush sector, RIS Director General Professor Sachin Chaturvedi said that Ayush Sector, by providing significant foreign exchange and tourist influx, has the potential of becoming hub of Medical Tourism.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Ministry said that the Knowledge Partnership, through this MoU, will not only serve to strengthen academic cooperation and collaboration but will also bring out Ayush Service Sector overview in a time bound frame. </p>
