Vice-President Hamid Ansari has said the Ayurveda is a traditional healing system and it needs to be seen as not just a system of disease treatment but a system of positive health for disease prevention and balanced lifestyle. <br/><br/>Addressing Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth in New Delhi today, Mr. Ansari said with proper development and study of the traditional methods the traditional medical systems, including Ayurveda, can become an important and affordable part of a holistic healthcare system.He said the alternative medicine has gained world wide recognition and is becoming popular gradually. <br/><br/>The Vice President said there is a need for strategic partnership among Ayurvedic medical experts, pharmacy, botanical authorities, agricultural and environmental experts, clinical trial experts and large pharmaceutical companies.
