Ayurveda Conference at Panchkula Union Ayush Minister Inaugurates Regional Review Meeting with Ministers from Eight States and Union Territories

The two days conference on "Ayurveda for One Health", an Expo-Ayurveda Parv and Regional Review Meeting of eight states and Union Territories was organised at Panchkula in Haryana today. Chief Guest Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the review meeting which was attended by the Union Minister of State for Ayush, Dr Munjpara Mahendrabhai and Punjab Health Minister, Dr Balbir Singh as Guest of Honour along with Ministers and officers of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Delhi.  The focus of the meeting was on various ongoing programs and activities, including Ayush Health and Wellness Centers.<br />'' <br />''After today's session, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal told the media that  a comprehensive review of the various initiatives under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the National Ayush Mission was done on the first day. He said that the utilization of financial support from Centre in the implementation of the mission on ground was reviewed in the meeting. He said, if any state government fails to utilize the  financial support from the Centre it causes loss to the public. The Minister said that the Centre wants every state government to take steps to carry forward the integrated system of medicine.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Tomorrow, the Ministry of Ayush will celebrate 8th  National Ayurveda Day on the theme  "Ayurveda for One Health" at Panchkula in which Union Ayush minister will be the Chief Guest and the Union Minister of State for Ayush, Dr Munjpara Mahendrabhai as Guest of Honour. Haryana Health and Ayush Minister Anil Vij, Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and other dignitaries will also attend the celebration.</span><br />
