<span style="color: black;">Union Minister for AYUSH, shipping and waterways Sarbananda Sonowal has said that Ayurveda and knowledge of other traditional medicines of our country has protected nature and generations for centuries. He said that if people adopt the Ayurveda and Yoga as a part of their lives, then they will not only remain healthy, but will also be able to utilize their full potential.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Mr. Sonowal launched AYUSH Ministry's distribution programme of medicinal plants and Ayurvedic medicine 'Guduchi Ghanvati' this evening at the National Institute of Ayurveda. He launched the programme by distributing saplings of Tulsi and Giloy and Guduchi Ghanvati Ayurveda Medicine to senior citizens under Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Addressing the programme virtually, the&nbsp; Minister said that the whole world has come to know the importance of ancient knowledge of Yoga. Mr Sonowal said that steps are being taken by the Central Government to promote traditional medicine systems.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The Ministry of AYUSH has set a target of growing medicinal plants in 75 thousand hectares under the Amrit Mahotsav. In the next one year, 75 lakh people will be contacted to make them aware about the importance of AYUSH systems of medicine by the various institutions under the Ministry. Along with this, lectures on the Yoga and importance of healthy life will be organised in 75 thousand schools of the country.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
