Ayodhya verdict: Cabinet Committee on Security holds meeting

The Cabinet Committee on Security today held its meeting for about two hours at the Prime Minister's residence in the aftermath of the Ayodhya verdict. Home Minister P. Chidambaram, Defence Minister A. K. Antony and the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee attended the meeting apart from others. A statement is expected on the meeting. The top brass of the Congress also followed the CCS meet.The BJP's core group is also meeting at senior leader L. K. Advani's residence to discuss the judgement and the party's future course of action. Senior leaders Sushma Swaraj , Arun Jaitley and party president Gadkari are attending the meeting.
