Today is the World pneumonia Day. The day is being observed for the first time to spread awareness about the disease which is treatable. Several global agencies including Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Public Health Foundation of India, WHO, UNICEF, USAID, Indian Clinical Epidemiology Network and AIIMS have come together to observe the day with the aim to prevent the deaths from this disease.<br/>
