The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has urged the Civil Aviation Ministry to institute an urgent enquiry into the incident of off-loading of a person with disability from a commercial flight at Kolkata.

An official release said the minister observed that the incident prima facie constitutes serious violation of rights of the person with disability and asked for punishing the person found guilty on priority.

The passenger who suffered cerebral palsy had complained to the Minister on being wrongfully off-loaded from a private airlines on 19th of this month.
