Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ajit Singh will inaugurate a 5-day India Aviation 2012 at Hyderabad tomorrow. The theme of this year’s show is– ‘India: The Emerging Aviation Hub’. An official release said the major attraction at the event will be the first ever display of Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) in the country. Leading business and commercial aircraft manufactures including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, and UAC-Sukhoi are participating in the event. Renowned Russian Aerospace organization IRKUT is participating for the first time in the show. On the ocassion, a postage stamp marking the centenary of Civil Aviation in the country will also be released. The event will offer a-6000 square kilometres exhibition space, 18 Hospitality Chalets and more than 25 aircrafts on display.The event will bring together senior Government officials, aviation business leaders, airlines, airport operators,regulators and air navigation service providers among others to address a wide range of pertinent challenges facing the aviation industry. Our correspondent reports this is the 3rd edition of the premier international exhibition and conference on civil aviation. The first two editions in 2008 and 2010 were a huge success.
