Aviation infrastructure in India needs large investments as aviation market is growing: Ashok Gajapathi

Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said, aviation infrastructure in India needs large investments as aviation market here is growing rapidly. In an inverview with All India Radio, Mr. Raju said India is already the world's third largest aviation market and the government will encourage any foreign airline willing to set up operations in India. <br/><br/>On Air India, the minister said he would not rule out disinvestment though no such proposal was on the table as yet. <br/><br/>The full interview of Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju can be heard on Rajdhani/FM Gold Channels and additional frequencies of All India Radio in its spotlight programme from 9.15 p.m. today.
