In Haryana, the average sugar recovery has so far been 7.71 per cent during the current crushing season.Stating this at Chandigarh on Monday, Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Cooperation, Mr Krishna Mohan said that Cooperative Sugarmills have so far produced over 4.07 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 59.65 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season. During the last crushing season, over 1.89 lakh quintals of sugar were produced by crushing 31.56 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
