Defence Minister AK Antony has expressed profound grief at the loss of several precious lives of Army personnel in the line of duty in the massive avalanches at the Army Post in SonaMarg and the Brigade Headquarters forward post at Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir late last night.
In a message, the Minister said his thoughts are with the near and dear ones of the deceased in this hour of tragedy.

He wished speedy recovery of those injured in the disaster. Mr. Antony said the government will provide all relief and rehabilitation measures to the affected families.
