<span style="color: #222222;">The autumn session of the Assam assembly will begin on 11<sup>th</sup> September 2023 at Dispur. The five-day long sessions will be held in the newly constructed building. Official sources said, at least 23 bills including seven new bills are likely to be tabled in the session by various departments.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">State Parliamentary Affairs minister Pijush Hazarika urged opposition parties to cooperate to peacefully run the session. Meanwhile, the opposition is likely to corner the government on multiple issues including recent eviction drive at Silsako, price rise, disrupted power supply in the state.</span><br />
