An auto journey across the world to raise funds for cancer patients. An NRI living in London has embarked upon the charitable journey along with two of his friends on the 14th of July this year. Sanjay Sharma, an IT teacher began his journey from Nottingham in England and has driven over 10,500 kilometers so far. Sharma was joined by two retired IAS officers in Mumbai on 14th of this month. The incredible journey came to an end in New Delhi today. The team paid tributes at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. One of the retired bureaucrats, Anand Mohan Bhardawaj who retired from the Service last year, says through the unique initiative that they are expected to collect over 40 lakh rupees. Talking to All India Radio, Mr Bhardwaj said that the money will be used to run a hospital for critically ill cancer patients.
