The 10th Auto Expo began at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Tuesday. The event will be formally inaugurated on Wednesday evening by Heavy Industries Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Commerce Minister Anand Sharma. Over 2,100 participants from 30 countries are participating in the expo. AIR correspondent reports, the Indian automotive industry has a turnover of more than 90,000 crore rupees at present and expects to gain significantly through new tie-ups, partnerships and marketing initiatives during this Auto Expo.
