Two out of three US stocks edged higher

Two out of three US stocks edged higher yesterday ahead of the crucial Federal Reserve policy decision this week.   Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced more than half percent and S&P 500 increased over 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell more than half a per cent.
