Australian Open: Williams sisters to clash in women's singles final

In Tennis, Williams sisters – Serena and Venus – will today clash in the Women's Singles Final of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season, at Melbourne. While Serena is eying her 23rd Grand Slam – an Open-era record, Venus is targeting her eighth major, first since Wimbledon in 2008. It will be their 9th Grand Slam meeting and 28th in total. They last met in a Grand Slam in the 2009 Wimbledon, the game which Serena had won in straight sets. Overall, Serena has won a 16-11 win-loss record against Venus. Yesterday, in Men's Singles, Spain's Rafael Nadal defeated Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria to set up a title clash with Swiss Roger Federer. His win meant that all four singles finalists are aged 30 or above, with the Spaniard being the youngest.
