The first Grand Slam of the season, the Australian Open Tennis tournament kicked off in Melbourne this morning. Some of the Singles first round matches are now underway. Serbia's Novak Djokovic and American Serena Williams are the top seeds in the Singles. Yuki Bhambri is the only Indian in the Singles. He will take on world number six Briton Andy Murray in the opening round later today.Sania Mirza, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi are among the players who will figure in the Doubles with their respective teammates. Sania had equalled her career-best doubles ranking of five yesterday following her title win at the WTA Apia International with Bethanie Mattek-Sands in Sydney.
