In Tennis, World Number one Simona Halep will take on second seed Caroline Wozniacki in the final of the Women's singles in the Australian Open. Denmark's Wozniacki defeated unseeded Belgian Elise Mertens 6-3, 7-6 to reach her first Australian Open final in Melbourne today. Romania's Simon Haleap had to fight it out to defeat 2016 winner Angelique Kerber of Germany 6-3, 4-6, 9-7.
