Australian Open: Sania-Hingis to play in women's doubles final today

Top ranked Indo-Swiss pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis will be eyeing for their maiden Australian Open title, as they take on 7th seeded Czech duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the finals today. After a record 35th successive match win, Sania and Hingis have entered the final and will be eager to earn their eighth title on the trot. The pair already has two grands slams- Wimbledon and US Open- to its name. Besides the women's doubles, Sania will also be seen in the semi final action of mixed doubles today. Partnered with Croatian Ivan Dodig in the event, top seed Sania will be meeting Russian-Brazilian pair of Elena Vesnina and Bruno Soares.The last spot in the men's singles final will also be decided today as Brit Andy Murray will be slugging it out against surprise semi finalist Milos Ranoic from Canada. The winner of this encounter will face defending champion Novak Djokovic on Sunday. The women's singles summit clash has already been finalised, it will feature defending champion Serena Williams up against first time finalist German Angelique Kerber.
