In Australian Open Tennis, in the mixed doubles category of the first Grand Slam of the season, Rohan Bopanna has begun his campaign on a winning note. Bopanna with his team-mate Canada's Gabriela Dabrowski defeated Kiwi-Slovenian team of Michael Venus and Katarina Srebotnik 6-4, 7-6, 10-7.Second seeded mixed doubles duo of Sania Mirza and Croatia's Ivan Dodig, is now playing their second round match against German-Croatian team of Laura Siegemund and Mate Pavic. Meanwhile, in the Singles, world number two Serena Williams have reached the pre-quarter final. Rafael Nadal, Denis Istomin, who stunned defending champion Novak Djokovic in the second round, and Milos Roanic are among those playing their third round matches now.
