In Tennis, World number two Roger Federer has retained his Men's Singles title in the Australian Open. The Defending champion defeated sixth seed Marin Cilic of Croatia, 6-2,6-7, 6-3 3-6, 6-1. It is Federer's sixth Australian Open singles title. The win has brought the Swiss to the elite group of Margaret Court, Serena Williams and Steffi Graf, the only players to have won 20 or more Grand Slam singles titles. For the first time, the final was played under a closed roof due to hot weather conditions. Rohan Bopanna and his Hungarian partner Timea Babos lost the Australian Open Mixed Doubles final match in Melbourne on Sunday. The fifth seeded pair were defeated by eighth placed Croatian-Canadian team of Mate Pavic and Gabriela Dabrowski in a closely fought match 6-2, 4-6, 9-11.
