In Australian Open Tennis, men's singles final is underway between Roger Federer and his old rival Rafael Nadal at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Federer and Nadal each had survived epic five-set matches in their respective semifinals. Nadal is eyeing his 15th Grand Slam title while Federer is looking for 18th Grand Slam trophy to his career record total. Federer has never beaten Nadal at the Australian Open in their three previous meetings. Earlier in the day, American-Colombian duo of Abigail Spears and Juan Sebastian Cabal defeated Indo-Croatian pair of Sania Mirza and Ivan Dodig in Mixed doubles final. The American-Colombian pair faced no challenge from the Indo-Croatian team as they won the title in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
