Australian Open: Indian tennis stars kick off men's doubles campaign

In Australian Open, Indian tennis stars kicked off their men's doubles campaign at Melbourne Park today. Tenth-seeded Rohan Bopanna and his French partner Edouard Roger-Vasselin reached second round by defeating US-Canadian pairs of Ryan Harrison and Vasek Pospisil 6-2, 7-6. In another doubles encounter, Indian duo Leander Paes and Purav Raja defeated the Georgian-Austrian pair Basilashvili and Andreas Haider-Maurer in straight set 6-2, 6-3. Sixteenth Seed Indian Divij Sharan with his American partner Rajeev Ram will also take on Romanian-Serbian pair of Viktor Troicki and Marius Copil later today.
