Indian shuttler R M V Gurusaidutt has sealed his place in the third round of the men's singles event at the Australian Open Grand Prix Gold badminton tournmament.In the second round in Sydney today, the 11th seeded player beat Suppanyu Avihingsanon of Thailand in three games 21-14 18-21 21-19. Ninth seeded Ajay Jayaram, however, failed to cross the second-round hurdle in the men's singles. He went down to unseeded Dong Keun Lee of South Korea, 24-26 19-21 in 47 minutes.India's campaign also ended in the women's singles category with upcoming shuttler Sarada Jasti losing to YuiHashimoto of Japan 5-21 13-21 in the first round in just 26 minutes.
